For a good business practice you will need proper communication. If you want good clients you need to offer them good communication so you will keep them.

There are messages which customers immediately send off as spam - you need to make sure that your e-mails are always worth the read for your regulars. Exactly how are you supposed to talk to your customers after all?

1. Pertinent information is always welcome in these kinds of things. You can use some of your own writing, or an article written by people you know give valuable advice in general.

2. Discounts and good offers are something that always grabs people's attention. If you offer people a way to save up money, they will definitely be appreciative of that. Even if you end up losing a bit of your income with some discounts, you will increase the loyalty factor for all those customers who are already satisfied with the service you offer.

3. Make sure you keep your customers notified of any changes and updates within your company. If you have a rich contact list then it is probably filled with people who enjoy your work. Naturally you should not send info about everything you do, just the most interesting changes and events.

4. You should keep your clients knowing about all new products to be released and about improvements on old products. Just keep in mind that there is a good reason for your clients to like you and to not drop their subscriptions when you e-mail them. New things will always intrigue them. If you combine the release of a new product with a proper discount or offer, they will definitely like you better.

5. Letting people know of any special events that might be coming your way is a good idea. People would always like an opportunity to party hard, and if you give them free food and beverages, you will entice them easily. People will value both you and your business much more if you provide them with an opportunity to meet and speak to you in person.

6. A good contest or giveaway will always be quite convenient for people. The type of item you want to give them does not really matter as long as you are giving it for free to your most loyal customers. Making people enlist for a contest is the harder part - it is up to you to choose what the whole thing will be about - it can range from improving your ad to a food fest. By showing people that you as a company are good enough you will definitely not only improve your income, but your communication as well. In the end your customers will not be the only one to have been rewarded.
